From a mere thirteen local men the choir has grown to a membership of over 60 singers, drawn from West Lancs., Liverpool, Sefton and Greater Manchester. The Choir is a registered charity and is active in supporting other charities fund raising. The Choir gives between 15 and 20 public and private concerts every year The Choir repertoire is extensive, consisting of classical, spirituals, folk songs, and songs from the shows The Choir welcomes new members of any age Rehearsals are held every Monday evening at the Aughton village hall from 7-30pm to 10pm. There is a voice test and an annual membership subscription. The choir has sung abroad on several occasions and has links with La Boite a Chansons from Jouy le Moutier France, the Madrigalchor Millrath Germany and the Jested and Severacek Choirs of Liberec, Czech Republic.
